Murtaza Syed
The writer is Head of Ecosystem at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing. He has more than 20 years of experience in macroeconomic research and policymaking. He worked for 16 years at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and recently served as Acting Governor and Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan.
