Conspiracy To Murder Arshad Sharif Was Hatched In Pakistan, Claims PTI Leader

Published on

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former minister Faisal Vawda has claimed that the conspiracy to kill journalist Arshad Sharif, who was murdered under mysterious circumstances in Kenya, was hatched in Pakistan. Vawda claimed that Arshad Sharif was asked to leave Pakistan as part of the conspiracy by those who are behind his killing. The PTI leader went on to say that he sees bloodshed during his party’s planned long-march.

He further said that no evidence related to the incident including Sharif’s mobile or laptop would be found because they have been ‘erased’. He said that he knew who the killers were, but would not reveal their name, adding that he has made a video naming the people behind the murder. “I have submitted those names internationally,” he said.

Vawda made these claims while addressing a press conference in Islamabad. Earlier, he had announced on his Twitter account that he would reveal the “truth” behind Arshad Sharif’s assassination.
