Balochistan police have recovered a 12-year-old boy from the house of Provincial Minister for Public Health and Engineering Noor Muhammad Dummar in Harnai, who was allegedly raped by two employees of the minister for 20 days.
The boy went missing over a month ago and the police were informed of his disappearance on May 11. On May 13, the victim’s brother filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the employees of the provincial minister, accusing them of raping his brother.
In the FIR, the victim’s brother stated that he was informed by the police on May 13 that they had recovered his brother from the house of the provincial minister. The recovered boy told his brother that he was raped by two employees at the minister’s house for the last 20 days, Voicepk.net reported.
The police have arrested the two accused in the case, including Muhammad Farooq and Muhammad Nawaz.
Earlier, Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) Provincial Minister Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran was accused of murdering three people in his private jail.
The bodies of three people, including an 18-year-old woman, were recovered from a well in Barkhan.
The 18-year-old was tortured, raped, and shot in the head thrice.
The remaining two bodies were of Khan Muhammad Marri’s sons, who had been accusing the minister of detaining his wife, Granaz, and seven children in his private jail since last year.
The incident sparked protests across Balochistan, leading to recovering of Granaz and her 5 children. The minister was released after two-week remand in police custody.
