Minor Hindu Girl Abducted From Sindh, Converted To Islam

Published on

A minor Hindu girl, identified as Krishma Ramesh, was allegedly abducted from Naukot, Sindh, and was forcibly converted to Islam.

The forced conversion of underage Hindu girls to Islam in Sindh is a severe issue. Human rights groups have continuously urged government authorities to introduce laws regarding forced conversations.

Netizens condemned the incident.

A journalist wrote: “Another minor Hindu girl has been abducted and converted to Islam from Naukot, Sindh. It is happening regularly and the state pretends that Hindus are safe.”

Another social media user wrote: “The white colour of Pakistan’s flag is about to vanish. State induced fundamentalist ideology is consistently threatening our minorities. It’s indeed an alarming situation, hence needs more attention by the government and hype in the mainstream media. #StopForcedConversion”
