Mirpurkhas Man Dies Due To Alleged Torture In Police Custody

A man has died allegedly due to torture in the custody of Kot Ghulam Mohammad Mirpurkhas Police, according to the locals.

The victim identified as Dado Khoso was charged under Section 3 and Section 4 of Prohibition Order 1979. However, he was granted bail by a court.

Following his release, he was allegedly again picked up by the Kot Ghulam Mohammad Mirpurkas Police. He died two days later in police custody due to alleged torture in custody.

The sections deal with the manufacturing, owning, or possessing of intoxicants.

The locals have been protesting against the alleged police torture.
