Police Baton-Charge Lahore Varsity Students Protesting Fee Policies

Superior University students were beaten up by police during a sit-in held in Lahore to protest against the new fee policies by the university management.

The police baton charged the students, who were protesting against the university management for demanding payment of the next semester’s fee before the start of the semester.


At least five people have died during recent violent protests by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters against the arrest of former prime minister and party chairman Imran Khan.

A protestor was killed in Quetta when the police opened fire at the protest.

According to reports, police opened fire at protesters in Quetta, who were holding a demonstration against the arrest of former premier Imran Khan.

In Peshawar, as many as four people died and nearly 27 suffered injuries amid clashes between police and PTI protesters.

Police have also booked several top PTI leaders, including Shireen Mazari and Yasmin Rashid and in a crackdown against PTI protesters, police have booked over 300 people.
