Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters have been sharing a video on social media from 2019 in which a woman can be seen being tortured by party’s Member Provincial Assembly Chaudhry Fazal ul Haq, falsely claiming that she is a PTI supporter being beaten up by security agencies’ officials.

The video was widely shared across social media platforms by PTI supporters. Social media users also called out the PTI supporters for sharing the video with false claims.

A social media user falsely claimed that the security agencies’ officials were torturing a PTI worker.

Journalist Moeed Pirzada also shared the said video.

Social media users pointed out to the journalist that it was an old video and PTI MPA was accused of torturing the woman in the video.
