A schoolteacher was allegedly killed by her family in the name of ‘honour’ in Sehwan.
The bullet-riddled body of the woman was found at home with her family claiming she committed suicide over some domestic issue. However, the police suspect honour killing.
She was recently hired as a schoolteacher after the passed the public service commission test.
Earlier, a young woman was allegedly killed by her brother in the name of ‘honour’ in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area.
The victim was shot dead by her brother, who had confessed to the crime during police interrogation.
Last month, unidentified suspects had killed an 18-year-old woman and set her body on fire on Indus Highway in Nasirabad, Sindh, in a suspected ‘honour’ killing.
According to medical examination, the woman was suspected of being killed with an axe or another sharp object.
The suspects sprinkled petrol on the woman’s body and set it on fire.
