Rahamutlah Mirbahar, a young IT expert from one of the most underprivileged areas of Sindh, Thatta, has surprised social media users with his Artificial Intelligence-generated images of the ancient Mohenjo-Daro civilisation.

He has posted an album of high-digital photographs depicting the lifestyle of people in Mohenjo-Daro, receiving widespread commendation from people across the country.

Rahamutlah Mirbahar shared with Dissent Today that he had to do thorough research to create accurate images of the ancient city, while adding that he managed to complete the project in three months.

Regarding his educational background, the IT expert said he was born in Sonda, Thatta and received his basic education from the Government Degree College, Thatta.

He has a diploma in Information Technology and Web-designing.

“I joined a web designing company and later worked as a wildlife photographer, which improved my skills,” he added while also crediting his mentor Manthar Mahi Khan Jakhro for encouraging him to create the images.

“As soon as I posted these photographs, people from all backgrounds, including members of the civil society and journalists, contacted me and lauded my efforts,” he said.

Giving a message to the young people in Pakistan, he urged the youth to explore Artificial Intelligence and also requested the Sindh government to add it to the textbook curriculum of secondary classes.

Rahamutlah Mirbahar is currently affiliated with the district health department under a 1-year contract.
